I hope you babies stop whining about ModNation Racers now
ModNation Racers is finally getting that patch. You know: the one that cuts down on the load times.
I was never seriously injured by the game’s load times. Yeah, it seemed to have a lot of them (and still will, presumably), but they did not get in the way of playing and enjoying the game. But if you were irritated by them and you’re still in the market for a $60 three-month-old awesome game, here you are.
More interesting to me is that developers United Front added a “casual” difficulty level to the single-player campaign, after enduring plenty of internet-based taunts to that effect. You guys, I beat the single-player mode without much problem, and it’s not like I’m some kind of kart racer genius. The ModNation campaign was nowhere near as tough as any given Mario Kart, to my thumbs, so I’m raising an eyebrow towards the babies who had to have this bottle. Hey, Nintendo… how about a patch to make New Super Mario Bros Wii easier?
Today’s PS Blog entry has the full description of the patch’s contents. It will go live August 4. I expect to see a lot of Campaign Completed Trophies.
