Heroes of Might and Magic VI is Announced by Ubisoft
In keeping with the strong tradition of announcing PC titles at Gamescom, Ubisoft have put together a new announcement that shows us a new Heroes of Might and Magic is coming soon. The new Heroes game (or HOMM as old schoolers remember it), will take place about 450 years before the events that take place in Heroes of Might and Magic IV.
HOMM VI will follow the story of Griffen Duke and his five children. Apparently, the developers are looking to lace this title with political and family strife, looking at models like Hamlet, King Lear, Rome, The Tudors and so many more of these critical dramas. So far, only three of the children and their realms have been announced.
Okay, I was never a big fan of the tactical combat in this title, but after playing Disciples III and now seeing some of the screens for this title, I think I will end up getting this title at some point.
Hit the jump for screens, a video trailer, and of course, a press release.
