Submitted by on July 30, 2010 – 4:51 pmNo Comment

This week on the Digital Ether, we have a solid selection of deals for those looking for something new on their PC to play.  Whether it is something old, or something new, you should be able to find something that will suit your gaming needs.  So, if your interest is piqued, hit the jump and see the deals for all the sites.

Also, I have added Good Old Games to the weekly roundup, so you will also find a selection of classic games to get you in the mood.  Do you know of a digital distribution site that is not in our roundup?  Shoot us an email at tips@aeropause.com or post it in the forums to let us know and we will make sure to add it.

Steam:

This week on Steam, the big deal of the weekend is Just Cause 2 and all of its DLC.  You can find the main game for $24.99 and all of its DLC for $0.49 to $0.99.  Also, they have The Guild 2 collection for 10% off, setting you back $35.99.  Finally, they have the complete original Everquest collection for $14.99 , a 50% savings.  The Everquest bundle comes with 30 days of free time, and then a monthly charge applies.

Impulse:

On Impulse, we also have The Guild 2 collection for the same price of $34.99, a 10% savings.  Also available is Gun, a great western title for $9.99, a 50% savings.  The full Elven Legacy bundle is marked down to $23.99, saving you 60% off of the retail price.  If you want a nice little casual experience, Capcom has Flock marked down 50%, making it $4.99.  Closing out the deals on Impulse, we have Mirror’s Edge, a beautiful First Person Running (?) experience for $9.99.

Direct2Drive:

Direct2Drive starts you off with Killing Floor for 25% off, knocking it down to $14.99.  If you like your first person shooters with  some atmosphere, you can get Metro 2033 for $37.50, a 25% markdown from list.  Space Empires V is deeply discounted by 85% to $2.49 from its list price of $19.99.  MMORPG fans can try out Algernon for $10 off, taking it down to $29.95.  For WWII FPS fans (are there any of you left?), the Red Orchestra 41-45 title is 25% off, making it $7.50.  Finally, Death Track Ressurection is marked down by 75%, leaving you with a small $3.50 price tag.

GamersGate:

Starting off on GamersGate, we have the Broken Sword bundle, featuring the first two titles in the series for $3.98, a 60% savings.  Ceville, a title I know little about, is marked down 60% to $7.98.  If you cannot wait for Civilization V in two months, you can get Civilization IV Complete for $23.97, a 40% savings.  Nikopol: Secrets of the Immortals is an adventure game from the creator of the Siberia series, and it is marked down to $7.58, a 60% savings.  Rounding out the deals we have Sam and Max: Season One for $11.98 (60% off), Sam and Max: Season Two for $11.98 (60% off), The Secret Files: Puritas Cordis for $15.99 (60% off), The Secret Files: Tunguska for $3.99 (60% off), Shaun White Snowboarding for $14.99 (50% off), Simon the Sorcerer 5 for $6.74 (75% off), Simon the Sorcerer Classic Pack for $5.18 (60% off), So Blond for $9.97 (50% off), Space Empires V for $2.49 (88% off), Tales of Monkey Island: Season One for $13.98 (60% off), The Void for $9.97 (50% off), and finally, Splinter Cell: Conviction comes in at $49.99, a 17% savings.

Good Old Games:

On Good Old Games this week, we have their Kalypso pack on sale for 50% off the list price.  With this pack, you get a solid collection of hits, including Patrician 1 and 2, Tropico Reloaded, Constructor and a lot more.  The total price comes out to $51.86, netting you a total of 13 games, and all the included extras that you get with a Good Old Games purchase.  That means wallpapers, avatars, manuals, soundtracks and so much more.

And there you have it, another Friday, another weekend of solid digital deals.  Come back next week when we will have another listing of all of the weekend deals up in your Internets.  And if you have any sites, or deals that you find on the web for digital downloads, make sure to comment, or post in the forums.  Hasta La Vista, readers!
