Sony Set to Launch 160GB and 320GB HDD PS3 Slims
It hasn’t been around long but already the 120GB PS3 Slim is looking to be something of a historical relic. From the end of this month, Sony of Japan will be replacing the 120GB models – already going out for open pricing for retailers as of today in order to clear shelves – with shiny new 160GB and – wait for it – 320GB versions.
Furthermore, we have a new colour choice. Okay, so it’s not exactly a rainbow of colour possibilities – right now, only a white model is being chucked into the mix – but the new white version will sport the 160GB HDD and, better still, retail at the same price as it’s ebony cousin (¥29,980 / $340). The 320GB mofo will set you back only a little more at ¥34,980 (about $400).
The catch? Well, we can’t get them: there’s no news yet of a US/EU release. Although to be honest, I find it hard to care. How about you?
