Fierce Teflon ® & Steel Mouse Surface

Recently I was handed the Fierce Teflon & Steel Mouse Surface by Rude Game Ware, same guys that bring us the Primal Wireless Head Set for the Xbox 360. In all honesty this will be the last mouse surface you will ever need to buy. You will find this mouse pad overwhelming from when you even receive the package to when you open it from the box. The package alone was at least 13″ x 11″ and it weighed about a pound or two. Within the package you will find you 1. Mouse Pad and 2. 3 strips that you use to put on the bottom of your mouse to skate across your new mouse surface.

I have huge amounts of area to work with, the dimensions for this beast are 300mm x 250mm x 3.25mm ( for us Americans 11.82 in x 9.85 in x 0.13 in ). The inside of the pad has steel rolled frame, laid neatly on to of a rubber non slip base and a super slick Teflon surface. The rubber non slip base is great for people like me that find their mouse pad hovering over the ground while playing, because their wrist are too fat and they drag the pad off.

Many of times I find myself playing a round of Day of Defeat, Counter Strike, or just any FPS shooter, and I either lose the mouse pad from under me and get shot in the face or the surface of the pad is dirty and something will catch on to the mouse optical and then I cant turn, then get shot in the face . The surface is the most slick surface that I have ever played on, my mouse control has dramatically changed, you turn in a flash when your getting shot from behind, or if  you need to get to that certain spot on the map during a RTS session you wont have to turn up the dial on the mouse speed. The Teflon is a synthetic material that coats most of our non-stick dinner and cooking surfaces that are brought to us by DuPont. Luckily if you drop any food onto your mouse pad you can clean it right off and not have to worry about anything. I cannot stress how nice of a surface this is, size is the only issue that I have with this pad, if you have a small workspace, like me, this can be a bit inconvenient. This Cal King of pads will give you tons of room to play on, a scratch resistant non-slick surface, and a rubber base that has the same qualities of a suction cup when trying to slide it off. Now we get down to the real business, the price for this baby is $29.99, this is a little steep but if your serious about gaming then this is the mouse pad for you. For more information you can take a look at Rude Game Ware’s Website.
