Review: Dragon Ball Z – Ultimate Tenkaichi (PS3)

If you’ve got an iPhone or an iPod Touch, there’s finally a compelling reason to turn it on. Ha, I kid; The iPod Touch is a fine device if you only own a couple dozen CDs.

Konami has now launched Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night, the Symphony of the Night themed puzzle game. I don’t own either of the two product families that this game can be played on, and it’s digital only, which means this is the first Castlevania game in memory that it is impossible for me to buy, let alone play.

It’s an unfortunate turn of events for a rabid fan like myself. Grab it for $4.99 if you’ve got the platform.

Classic Platformer is Reinvigorated for the iPhone and iPod touch
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – July 22, 2010 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced the availability of Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night for the iPhone and iPod touch. The first-ever Castlevania puzzle-RPG game will offer franchise followers the opportunity to return to Transylvania and take on a unique gameplay aesthetic.

Distinctively different from its predecessors, Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night enables gamers to employ a unique style of puzzle-RPG to solve puzzles that will help them secure weapons and spells. Tailored specifically for the iPhone and iPod touch, players must assume the role of Alucard, the son of Dracula, as they navigate within the walls of Dracula’s castle. Players can also revisit old friends and foes while playing as or against characters directly from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
