New Limited Edition Tron Controllers Look Slick

Performance Designed Peripherals (PDP), has struck a licensing agreement with Disney Interactive Studios to deliver new controllers to the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii, all set around the theme of TRON.

As you can see from the pictures, the controllers will featured the cool blue hued lighting through the controller, as well as the textures of the controller looking like the outfits in the upcoming TRON game and movie. Each controller will run $49.99, and while the Wii controller is wireless, the PS3 and Xbox 360 version will have to teather to the console. That is a bit of a downer, but still, I don’t mind being teathered if it means my controller looks as awesome as the ones in these photos. Unfortunately, there will be no Tron Mouse and Keyboard combination, and that makes me a bit sad inside.

Not gonna lie, that 360 controller does look S E X X Y.

The Wii one looks ultra-futuristic, like a Death Dealing stick.

The PS3 controller… well.. it looks like 1980s TRON. While TRON is by no means a fail, it needs more COLOR, or edges, or something.

That looks awesome, but without wireless no thank you. I know it would drain the battery, but going back to cords just feels wrong.

Cool! I don't mind burning 50 bucks on that controller. I bet the Tron Mouse and keyboard will be produced eventually. By the way, is this already out in the market?
