Tiny Diggers – An iPad Construction Truck Game for Kids Age 2-5

After yesterday’s PlayStation Store update with oodles of new E3 trailers I decided to dive into the Store on my PS3 and download them all. (My new hard drive in the PS3 — see last week’s podcast for upgrade quirks I encountered — helps me not worry about downloads any more, for what it’s worth.)

After firing up trailers for all sorts of games whose names and screen shots on the web hadn’t gotten me excited, I started to sit up and take notice on some titles and, honestly, cringe at others. I won’t bore you with my preferences, but I will say that from now, whenever possible, I’m going to avoid seeing these things on YouTube when they’re on the console itself. So many games these days look so good that reducing the resolution for the web just doesn’t do them justice.

So fire up your favorite console (unless it’s the Wii) and start watching if you’re not already.
