Def Jam Rapstar Adds New European Exclusive Tracks
Being a fan of rap music, I have started to keep my eye on the upcoming Def Jam Rapstar, and today, we have new word of exclusive European tracks in the game for our friends across the pond. Stepping up to the plate for the UK will be a Singstar favorite of mine, Dizzee Rascal with his track, “Fix Up, Look Sharp”, a nice, fast lyrical track that will keep people on their toes. If you are in France, you will get the group NTM featuring Lord Ko on the track, “Ma Benz”. Finally for our rap brethern in Germany, you will get lyricist Sido with his hit track, “Mein Block”. Yeah, I picked Sido for our lead photo, because who can’t resist a rapper in a mask. Each region will have a second track as an exclusive as well.
I have to admit that these are some good choices, although I would have loved to have seen Keny Arkana make an appearance in the French version of the game. She has a great lyrical flow, and she has a great sense of emotion and passion in her voice when she raps. Definitely check her stuff out on iTunes if you have not listened to it, as it is fantastic, even if you do not understand a lick of French.
Check out some more photos and a presser after the jump. Def Jam Rapstar is coming in the fall of 2010 from Konami and 4mm Games on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
