Babysitting Mama puts your Remote inside a baby

Submitted by on May 24, 2010 – 11:18 am3 Comments

When you head out this fall to pick up Babysitting Mama, a Wii exclusive, you’ll find that it comes with a baby. Which only makes sense. I, for one, am sick of the Mama series heretofore lack of custom peripherals.

Packed with an “adorable plush baby,” Babysitting Mama plans to add some cuddle to your waggle. You tuck the Remote inside the doll and then commence to babysitting. Majesco did not send along any screens or pictures of the doll, but it sounds hilarious. I hope the doll maintains the Mama series’ anime/Powerpuff Girl vibe.

I wonder if the Nunchuk will trail out of the baby like a tapeworm. We’ll find out this fall, unless the game gets delayed thanks to some kind of stitching or stuffing glitch.

Upcoming Mama Brand Extension Introduces Exciting New Play Mechanic

EDISON, N.J., May 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — When lovable Mama isn’t cooking, gardening or crafting, she’s tending to the needs of adorable baby tots. Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ:COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, has just announced Babysitting Mama exclusively for Wii(TM). Developed by Cooking Mama Limited, this innovative simulation game will be delivered with an adorable plush baby doll that the babysitter tucks the Wii Remote(TM) into in order to interact with the doll and game at the same time.

“The Mama franchise continues to evolve in exciting new ways that offer unique play experiences,” said Jesse Sutton, Chief Executive Officer, Majesco Entertainment. “With the plush baby as the controller, Babysitting Mama redefines traditional play patterns and combines game and doll in one outstanding collectible package.”

Mama makes her babysitting debut in an inventive game that lets players use the Wii Remote(TM) in a whole new way! By tucking the Wii Remote(TM) into the back of the plush baby included with the game, girls can play the game as they play with the doll. Players can enjoy more than 40 activities using the doll and Nunchuk(TM) controller: rock the baby to sleep; bounce the baby; feed, bathe, change and play with the baby, plus much more. Babysitting Mama features six unique babies, each with his or her own personality and needs, along with a range of indoor and outdoor environments that Mama and baby can play in. The game even supports two-player mode, because when it comes to newborns, Mama could use some help!

Babysitting Mama for Wii(TM) is expected to release this holiday. For additional information about Majesco’s exciting line of products, please visit www.majescoentertainment.com.

So many jokes. Problem is that all of them would probably get me labeled a pedophile.
