New LEGO Harry Potter trailer promises fun and immersion
Why sure your game will focus on being fun and immersive. It damn well better. Or it only gets a 6 out of 10.
Eh, it’s a chatty developer trailer, what can you expect.
After hearing about the sandbox-styled Hogwarts and the splitscreen multiplayer, I have high hopes that LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 will finally break the cycle of co-op weirdness that has followed the LEGO series since the first Star Wars edition. I just want to be able enjoy the low-key silliness and approachable adventuring of a LEGO game without getting screwed over by the co-op camera and forced to respawn over a cliff.
Seems like LEGO Harry Potter has had about a dozen release dates attached to it. The official site still claims a vague June 2010. For every system imaginable. The new 2:00 video titled “Hogwarts Awaits” is awaiting after the jump.
