New Alan Wake Dev Diary on Xbox Live
It looks like Microsoft is really starting to get the press ball rolling with Alan Wake as we now get info on a new developer diary hitting Xbox Live, as well as new Avatar clothing items and real world gear that you can sport to show your love and appreciation for Alan Wake.
The new developer diary, “Alan Wake: Building the Mystery”, shows off all the information we have found out about the title so far, as well as giving fans a few new unreleased clips. Supposedly, there are new clues in this footage that will help with decyphering the mysteries that will be found in Alan Wake.
On the clothing front, it seems that Microsoft is looking to make a brand name out of Alan Wake, as they will be putting together a CafePress store with t-shirts, hoodies and more, all branded with the Alan Wake logo and themes. While hats and hoodies are nice, you do not have a full functioning clothing store if there is no Alan Wake: The Thong. Just saying, that’s all. Also, if you pre-order right now, you wil get a download code for some Avatar clothing items, as well as a premium theme for your 360 dashboard.
All of this is nice, but at this point, I really want to see Alan Wake released. Yes we are just over a month away from release, but at this point, there has been so much leading up to this four years in the making title, that it needs to get here. Yes, Microsoft has to advertise a tier one title like this, but after four years it just needs to come out. It would also be nice to come to PC, but somehow, I think that ship has long since sailed out of Microsoft’s port. Look for Alan Wake on May 18th, 2010 here in the states, while it hits Europe four days earlier on May 14th.
