Gears of War 3 Is Official for April 2011
Well, after some well publicized secret announcment talk from Clifford B., we now have the word, and the word is that Gears of War 3 is a go for April 2011. Along with the announcement for Gears of War 3, we also got a new teaser trailer for the final installment of the trilogy, and the trailer is nothing short of amazing.
In the trailer, we have lots of ash falling to the ground and frozen bodies of ash, looking like a nuke might have hit the planet of Sera. A COG looks to be running, that might be an older looking Dominic, with greyish hair and a beard, while chased by hordes of Locust troops. He falls and is about to be killed, when the Locust that was coming in for the kill is shot by Marcus. The trailer ends with several COGs fighting off tons of Locust, like they have circled the wagons. It is epic and depressing at the same time as it ends with the words, “Brothers Until The End”. Also, I am going out on a limb and saying that I think we see Anya shooting it out with the rest of the COGs. Anyone that would like to correct me on this, please do so, as I am not totally sure on this fact.
