Episodes from Liberty City Live for PC Gamers

Submitted by on April 15, 2010 – 11:43 am3 Comments

Microsoft and Rockstar Games have released the long awaited Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City DLC for PC this week, and with it a new patch weighing in at 300MB.

The new DLC can be purchased in game via the in-game Games for Windows LIVE client, or can be found in the standalone Games for Windows LIVE client.  It is also available on Steam for those that like to consolodate all of their DLC purchases.

The new DLC includes both The Lost and the Damned as well as The Ballad of Gay Tony, and can be had for $15 each or in a single standalone pack for $30.  All of the extra features for the PC version are present in this release, including the video capture and editing tools, allowing for new video creation possibilities.  It looks like it might be time to bring “A Joe Haygood Joint” production studio back online for this new release.  PC users also got a new patch that offers a few new graphical setting sliders as well as killing off the separate Rockstar Social Network application.  All of that is now embedded into the game.

For those that missed out on the Grand Theft Auto IV experience on the PC, you can pick it up for sale on the Games for Windows website for 50% off until the 19th of April.  $15 for Grand Theft Auto IV is a pretty good deal considering all the gameplay in the package.

I have GTA IV for PC and $30 for both DLC packs seems a little steep, still I might just get “The Ballad of Gay Tony” or at least wait on a Steam sale.
