Why yes, EyePet will have Move support

Man, I am on an easy-prediction hot streak!
Today the PlayStation Blog announced that EyePet will indeed support Move, as I had mentioned earlier. THE PROPHECY IS COMPLETE.
EyePet was intended for a US release last fall but vanished from the PS3 holiday ’09 lineup… no doubt to add all these inspiring Move controls. As originally presented, the EyePet used a special card as one means to interact with the modern-gen Monchichi. Now PS Blog reports you’ll be able to use the Move as well. A new demo movie is after the jump.
Yes, I’m getting this. Because it is exactly the kind of silly crap I like.

hah Monchichi!
OK, so did Don Bluth do the animation? And could they have picked a worse song for the background?
Seriously, though, I can see a commercial like this selling a lot of little kids on a PS3. And then when mom and dad see a $300 PS3, a $30 camera, and a $100 Move set compared to the Wii the kids already have with Ubisoft's $20 equivalent of this game (which will end in a Z), it still won't sell a PS3.
great post
