Ones to Watch: Wii and DS for April 2010

Submitted by Joe Fourhman on March 31, 2010 – 9:34 pmView Comments

The Wii’s biggest get this month is Monster Hunter Tri, which will arrive on April 20 in two editions. You can pick up the game itself for $50 or the Classic Controller Pro bundle for $60 (note that the black CCP with retail for $20 separately.) GameStop is offering a preorder bonus of a 500 Nintendo point gift card plus $5 off the price of the game. Arriving in the UK on the 23rd is a massive Monster Hunter Tri limited edition that tosses a Wii Speak into the mix.

The only other notable Wii releases this month are Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest and Flip’s Twisted World. This is probably a good month to finish up No More Heroes 2 or something.

On the DS, things are similarly bleak… purposefully so with Dementium II on April 20. Beyond that, there’s Windy x Windham, Beat City and Dawn of Heroes awaiting insertion on your new DSi XL.

Pretty much you’re getting Monster Hunter Tri and settling in for Mario Galaxy 2 this May.
