Whew, No Install Required for God of War III

Many games have hard drive installs, so much so that when I was headed to a friend’s house to game with him last weekend, I actually brought my own PS3 along since his hard drive was almost full. How else could we play a new game that would need to be installed before we started up?

Today a Sony Santa Monica employee tweeted that God of War III will not have a hard drive install. This puts the upcoming rage-fest in a camp alongside Uncharted 2 and a few select other games that have been able to avoid these installs.

Really, though, it’s just another reason to buy this game sooner rather than later, and I didn’t really need any more reasons given how great the most recent trailer is. Take a peek above at the trailer from the PS Blog.

    Personally, I don't really care if a game has to install because I'm not even close to filling up my hard drive. If it was full though, then it would definitely be a problem.
