New Pitching Screens for MLB 2K10

Submitted by on February 5, 2010 – 2:21 pm2 Comments

MLB 2K10 will be dropping on all the major platforms in less than a month, and 2K Sports was nice enough to send over a gaggle of screenshots, while talking up the new pitching interface in the game.

With Total Control Pitching, gamers will now be able to zero in on the exact spot to place your pitches, allowing for extreme control.  Want to paint the corner of the plate, go for it.  Need to brush a batter off of the plate – plant a pitch high and inside.  The new mechanic will still work off of the pitchers skill level, so don’t expect laser accuracy with a fresh out of the farm leagues pitcher.  The idea is to allow someone to set up pitches to an exact point, instead of a simple direction of high left, or low right.

Check the jump for more of the pictures from MLB 2K10.  Look for MLB 2K10 on store shelves March 2, 2010.
