NetFlix fail: our service is underwhelming, Wii users won’t even notice

Submitted by on February 9, 2010 – 12:08 am3 Comments

The Wiire recently had an exclusive interview with the folks bringing NetFlix service to a Wii console near you, and these people are saying basically the same thing about the service as Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime: Sure NetFlix on Wii won’t be in HD, but most of NetFlix isn’t in HD anyway. This is true, and I agree with the fact that almost nobody using a Wii is going to give a crap (honestly, I have yet to watch anything HD streaming on NetFlix on my PS3 or anywhere else), but to actually call your service “underwhelming” seems a little bit… not good?

I only watched my first Bluray move last week lol. I bought FightClub..but this is mainly because they're still pretty expensive, but I found a bargain bin.

Problem is, yes, Average Joe User won't notice the difference because Netflix has done such an incredible job of making their SD content look good.

  • I won't care because it's convenient.

Plus, I don't own an HD television. So, there you go.
