MLB 2K10 “My Player” Video
In MLB 2K10, there is a new feature that has been added to the game called My Player mode. In this mode, you will create a new player and guide him from the Amateur Draft to the Major Leagues. You will be able to create his look, style, signature moves, and more. If you are creating a pitcher, you can even select a custom windup and delivery. As you play through the My Player mode, you will look to achieve milestones that will allow for your advancement from Double A ball to Triple A ball and finally, the Major Leagues. If you can really clean house in Double A ball, you can even go straight to the Majors from there, without any Triple A ball experience.
Last year, I had some issues with MLB 2K10, but I am intrigued by this new feature. If it is implemented correctly, it could give players an attachment to their game, through the player they have created.
Hit the jump for a trailer for the new My Player mode. MLB 2K10 hits store shelves on 3/2/10 for the Xbox 360, PC, PS3, DS, Wii, PS2 and PSP.
