Bioshock 2 Launch Trailer Is Really Good

Submitted by on February 3, 2010 – 5:05 amNo Comment

Well, shortly after the Bioshock 2 trailer went live on the East Coast, we got an email in our box stating that the trailer was ready for download and posting.  After some techical issues, we now have the trailer up on the site, and it is an impressive trailer.

I have said all this time that I have been on the fence for Bioshock 2, but even I have to admit that the commercial looked fantastic.  Most of the commercial is focused on showing the actual gameplay rather than pre-rendered cutscenes.  The action is fast and the premise of a prototype Big Daddy is getting easier to take after I see him at work.  Also, was I the only one that noticed that Grey Hulk moved to the bottom of the ocean to fight.

Let us know what you think of the trailer.  Also, what did you think of the marketing plan, which had the trailer linked to a commercial during Jimmy Fallon’s Late Show.  I know he is a gamer, but having the trailer on so late at night seems off, if not, expensive.
