I don't think I missed it. As far as I am concerned, they still have yet to release a competent demo. And no, paying $40 for GT Prologue does not count as a competent demo, unless you enjoy paying for demos.

I guess I am just at a loss as to why they would take this strategy, considering that the competition has released all three of their racing titles (Forza) in the same time it has taken Polyphany Digital to release one. I need a good demo to see if they have fixed the nagging issues that have always left me baffled, ie. damage modelling and rail riding.

You're INSANE. This game looks incredible!

Sorry you felt misled by the GT5 'demo' though, Old Man Joe. *pats* There, there. It's okay. Shush, now.

Quite frankly, you'd probably have to hold some kind of massive sweepstakes prize giveaway to get me to care about Gran Turismo. That or offer new GT-themed levels for LittleBigPlanet.

Nice box art, though!

Okay, I downloaded the demo for Gran Turismo 5 that is out, and once installed, I realized it was not a demo, but more of a contest entry item. Why would they do this? This is easily one of the top recognized brands on the PS3, and I love driving games, but the contest entry "demo" completely turned my interest down on the game. I hope that they can finally release a real demo, so I can try the game, because I think it is the only way I can race NASCAR vehicles now.

Was I the only one that felt this way?
