Flagship’s Zombie Army Adds Hellgate

Submitted by Paul Munn on January 18, 2010 – 8:12 pmComments

hanbitsoft_logo_aNot scared enough at Mythosreturn from the dead? Try Flagship headliner Hellgate on for size. HanbitSoft reports that they’ll be publishing Hellgate again and bringing servers for it online in the US and EU. In a world stuffed with free-to-play MMOs as good as Runes of Magic and subscription MMOs like World of Warcraft, is there room for a hybrid fantasy MMO to try a second time after failing so badly the first time?

Really it depends on if they’ve sharpened it up at all before turning it around, and apparently it will be a free-to-play game to get people in the door and currently has the moniker Hellgate: Resurrection. Other than that no real details are known and the game hasn’t launched in the other territories slated to get it before the US does, so we’ll have to wait and see what it looks like.

Seen on Shacknews.
