I wouldn't partake. I don't think I could pay for another online service that would still be less-appealing (to me) than Xbox Live.

Also, I wonder how long the rest would be free. There were a lot of things that were outside the Xbox Live gold Membership years ago that are now inclusive. I remember that demos were free to all, and now new demos are gold exclusive for the first week.

I am not against Sony charging for their service if it allows them to add new features and whatnot. People tend to forget that a lot of this development and backend infrastructure has to be paid for somehow.

The key takeaway is “current features would remain free,” because there is very little on that list that I give a fig about.

I think that unlimited free access to PSOne classics would sell me. $30 a year for that? I'm totally down.

This would be awesome if were really for real, but I don't know how long I would have to look through these before I decided which one I would want the most.
