Finally finished it a few weeks ago. I have one gripe that drove me crazy through the entire game, though it is a small one. That is trying to buy ammo in the shop, why cant I just click a button to completely fill my ammo? It is so annoying to have to click the button 15 times before my ammo is full.

When you get it after Christmas, definitely look me up for a game, or hit me up via one of the services I am on. mclazyj is my username for just about anything. And you can now find me on the wretched service known as Facebook. Just look for Aeropause Games, and you will find me in there.

This is true, but I could swear that I used mouse controls in the menu. I will check when I get home to see if my memory is correct. As for bad menu controls, one only has to look towards Rogue Warrior and Bionic Commando for that. Rogue Warrior is allergic to the mouse until you get into the game, and Bionic Commando went so far as to show Xbox 360 controller commands during the tutorial. Nothing like seeing "Press RT to jump" when you are using a mouse and keyboard to play.

True. Like I said, it could just be me forgetting, but I am sure I used the mouse in the menus. Now Rogue Warrior on the other hand is a great example of porting to PC. Nothing is selectible with the mouse. It can only be used in gameplay. Bionic Commando was like that as well, to the point that the controls shown in the tutorials were from the Xbox 360 controller. Nothing like being told that jump is the RT, when using a mouse and keyboard.

I had these same moments while playing Borderlands. Even when I did have bugs, I would just shrug it off and continue playing. The game has some weird addictive traits that just have me going back again and again. It is hurting my time with other games at this point.

Maybe it is a Steam thing, but I am sure that I was using the mouse to select menu items. I will have to check this when I get home. As for the SecuROM in the DLC, I am sure this happened due to the numerous amount of hacked copies that are showing up online to play. The DLC will keep those persons in check, for at least a short period of time.

Gamespy was used primarily due to it being built into the Unreal 3 engine toolset. That said, other developers have worked around this, and have supported UPnP, so why not Gearbox. Worse is that they say this has been fixed for a patch release, but they say that it is waiting for approval from 2K Games for release. Why does the publisher have any say in this? If you have something that can fix the game, release the damn thing already.
