L4D2 content update: The Passing announced

left4dead2logo-560x287 Those loveable rapscallions at Valve have revealed some information about the first add-on for Left 4 Dead 2. Called “The Passing, it’s especially notable because it brings the return of everyone’s favourite quadrio of zombie-slaying persons, Bill, Francis, Lois and Zoey! That’s right, the original (and best) survivors return for another round of slaughter. But that’s not all! Apart from the new campaign, the game will “include new arenas for Survival, Versus and Scavenge mode and introduce a new co-operative challenge mode of play. The Passing will also include a new “uncommon common” zombie class, melee weapon, and firearm.” So far so awesome! “Left 4 Dead 2: The Passing is targeted for release in early spring for the PC and Xbox 360. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.” Can’t wait!

I don't have L4D2 (Left 5 Dead), but I think this is really neat to have the two groups' paths cross. It's good to know that the originals aren't gone for good. I just love imitating Bill's: “Reloading!!!”
