First Crystal Bearers reviews are something other than great

It wasn’t two days ago that I was expressing my excitement over the upcoming Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers for Wii, but it looks like I may have to hit the brakes on my purchase. The first handful of reviews are out now, and they’re not giving me a good feeling.

The lowest of the four is GameInformer’s 55/100, and the highest is Nintendo Power’s 8/10 in the issue that landed in my mailbox today. Check out this 62/100 review at IGN above. Nintendo team member Mark Bozon’s main complaint is that the game isn’t fun. This is unfortunate.

  • I wonder if I should get this and play through it just because reviews are pointing me the other way?

    If I hit some Wii downtime, maybe it'll be the one I go for.

    For now, though, too much to play.
