Child’s Play

cp_nodateNo, I’m not talking about the film with the scary-ass doll.

Add an extra gift to your Christmas list this year and give whatever you can to Penny Arcade’s Child’s Play charity, a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games in over 60 hospitals worldwide.

They’re currently in the midst of a fundraising drive, but you can donate anything that hospitalised children would appreciate, including arts and crafts, toys, DVDs and – of course – age-appropriate games and consoles. (Visit the FAQ for a full list of what can and cannot be donated.) They’re trying to smash the magnificent $1.4m they managed to raise last year, so please – let’s help them do it this Christmas.
