UK Sales Chart: Assassin’s Creed leaps to second!

Submitted by on November 23, 2009 – 4:27 pm3 Comments

ezio Well, the UK sales charts have been unleashed, and there are a few surprises. Not one of them is Modern Warfare 2 at number 1, despite it dropping 86%(!) in sales since last week. Two and three are new entries, Assassin’s Creed 2 at two, and New Super Mario Brothers Wii (unusually, a first party Wii game doing poorly) and the next two spots occupied by Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit Plus (both forced down by new entries). Fifa 10 is down one to six, and Left 4 Dead 2 is straight in at seven, followed by… Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games? What? Then Forza Motorsport 3 and… Lego Batman? UK consumers are weird.
