I loved Saints Row 2, to the point where I enjoyed it more than GTA IV. The customizations were great, and the missions were a lot more interesting.

I liked that The Saboteur was trying to do something different in the World War II space, and it sucks, because now I figure it must be a throwaway title from EA.

I know a lot of people that speak very highly of Saints' Row. Both Saints' Row titles got an 81 on metacritic, which puts in the same ballpark as, say, Borderlands. And I know a few people that definitely prefer those titles over GTA4.

If The Saboteur was merely "as good as" Saints' Row, that might not actually be that bad.

It had cool ideas, but it looked as bad as Saints Row. Especially the vehicles. They had some extra things in there, but the game was garbage, I wasn't buying it, doubt many others were interested either.

Leave it to EA... It's probably all about shutting down people who are about to go to market rather than shutting down people who are currently working on games, with the hopes to relocate the newly-finished games' teams to teams who need help.

Money is an issue, if this is the case then it's smart, but I still hate EA and I do not buy their titles :)

Now, who will make my Mercenaries games!? I can see how buggy the game is and stuff, but I still enjoyed it.

To be fair, Bioware was in that purchase as well. Not exactly something to shrug at.

It's official, EA paid 860 million dollars for it just under 2 years ago, and now it's nothingness.
http://www.gamespot.com/news/6240463.html
