Aw, the N-Gage is finally dead

sidetalkin-tombstoneWe all thought it about four seconds after the N-Gage debuted in 2003, but the entire concept has finally been put to pasture by the overlords at Nokia. The device was re-launched in 2004 and eventually evolved into a less-taco-like form factor. In 2008, they attempted to turn “N-Gage” into a brand of mobile gaming delivery for other Nokia phones. From the Yahoo News article:

“We will no longer publish new games for the N-Gage platform,” Nokia said on its N-Gage blog, to which a user calling himself Jon replied: “It’s a sad day for N-Gage fans.”
