Aeropodcast #107: Fourhman’s Homage to Keith “Pitapocket” Urban

    By Joe Haygood | November 8, 2009

20080916_Infinity_Ward_LogoThis week on the Aeropodcast, we talk about more of the controversy surrounding Infinity Ward and the decisions they have been making as of late.  We look at the whole “Friends Against Grenade Spam” and the consolification of the series on PC.  You can also hear Haygood go ballistic to the point of the censor button.

We also take a quick peak at Joe’s purchase of the AO version of Manhunt 2 on the PC, and the fact that Rockstar actually took a bit of time to bring the game over to the PC.  We also break into discussion about AO titles and their future on the console, which did not look all that bright.

Our podcast is mixed together by the one and only DJ Magic Munn, and backed up by the music of Revolution Void.  You can find their tunes over at www.revolutionvoid.com.

I thought it was "Fight Against Grenade Spam" not "Friends Against Grenade Spam".

      Haha, Lundy is right.

      haha F.A.G.S.
    • Great show guys. Though I had no idea what you guys were talking about with the World Series. I zoned for 10 seconds and you never repeated you were talking about, though I know it was about homsexuals. Link maybe?

Great to see I get my own tag! I think I was mentioned more than Jordan Snyder on the episode.

And Haygood, I want to know how many hours you were able to keep yourself from downloading the overpriced, underdeveloped PC version of COD: POS 2.

And Forham, totally agree with you thoughts on Doc Louis. For free, its good for the time it lasted. Just wish it had lasted a tad bit longer.
    • I am still holding strong. I will not buy Modern Warfare 2 on the PC. I absolutely refuse. I will rent it on the 360, but those fucks will never get another dime out of me. I will not pirate the release, but I sure as hell will not spend one dime on it either. Of course, sales will go down, and Activision will blame it on piracy, rather than their own stupid decision making skills.
    • Good for you. I'm proud. Really thought you would buckle. Though it has been a week since this post, you might have changed your mind.

Jordan, don't forget to thank them for their gifts. Happy 13th lol
    • Jordan_Snyder
Oh, I know! Such lovely gifts! /sarcasm

Fourhman, couldn't you just give me the punch to the groin which would be far more enjoyable than having to play through Animal Crossing: Shitty Fuck -- I mean, City Folk.

And Haygood! You know my laptop can't run MW2! Looks like I'm out of luck on my SIXTEENTH birthday.
    • Great cast, guys. Sorry I missed the discussions this week!

Btw, I'm kinda with you on Brutal Legend, Joe H. I'm enjoying it okay (and probably only half way through) but I'm finding the to-ing and fro-ing a bit tedious, and the gameplay a little repetitive. That translates as me wanting to finish it ASAP rather than hoping it never ends, if you know what I mean?

But the spiders. OMG THE SPIDERS. *shudder*
