I highly doubt it because Infinity Ward has said that they want to use it to pump up the player for the rest of the game.

I may be wrong, but didn't Way of the Samurai on the PS2 allow for you to end the game within 20-30 minutes of playing it if you happened to head down that path? I know there was some PS2 game like that. Just because it would end the game early, don't not negate it as a possible path to take.

I think choosing to attack the terrorists would make the game 5 minutes long. Vladimir Makarov is the game's antagonist, so killing him off in the first mission would be rather depressing.

I would find it interesting if you could actually choose whether to shoot the innocents, or blow your cover and attack the terrorists. That scenario was never addressed either, and it was something I started to think about in the days after the podcast.

Also, I'm pretty sure it's the very first "mission," although I wouldn't call it that. I would think it's really there emotionally shock the player and get them ready kick ass and really feel attached.

Just thought I'd point something out about that Modern Warfare 2 scenario. Apparently, you're not playing as a terrorist, but a CIA agent who infiltrated the terrorist's circle of trust. However, on this mission, if you don't try to blend in, you'll be killed (I think you're discovered at the end of the mission and killed anyway, though).

I have a nagging gall stone that my doctor has said not to worry about if I am good with occasional pain. It only hurts after spicy food. As for Kidney stones, I have passed at least a dozen in my lifetime, including having one broken up by lithotripsy. That one was the size of a quarter and ended up breaking up into so many parts, I pissed stones for at least three months. Good times.

Yeah, I was reading about the F.A.G.S. stuff right after we finished recording, and was bummed I did not see it happen while we were recording.

Have yet to listen, but as someone who had their gallbladder removed earlier this year I can confidently confirm that GALLSTONES FECKING HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURT. And that's from someone who's pushed a person out of her ... well, kinda. (He got stuck and came out the sunroof in the end ...)
