The PixelJunk Home space opened for business this week, right alongside the new in-game camera feature. Unlike many Home lands that aspire to look like an environment ripped directly from the game, PixelJunk opted for a museum angle with a classy Apple Store vibe.

There are cozy wings devoted to the three PixelJunk games (Racers, Monsters, Eden), with giant models and decorations for each. The Monsters zone includes a statue of a tower perhaps unfamiliar to fans of the PSN download… because it’s one of the new towers created for the PSP release, PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe. The Home writeup for this new space sort of made it sound like you could find free PixelJunk items for your Home apartment/avatar, but all I saw was a storefront full of junk to buy.

Incidentally, the new Home cam snaps at a delightful 1280×720 size.
