I'd rather call it Three hundred fifty-eight halves of days.
I'd rather they'd given it a better name. I suggest “Imagine Kingdom Hearts Baby Petz.” Big sales!
I saw that commercial last night during Clone Wars and all is now complete in my life.
However, if you look at the logo of the game and then listen to the pronouncement, it still doesn't make sense.
Actually, can anyone explain why it is named that?
I'm inclined to agree that this makes no sense. I was going with “three hundred fifty eight over two days.” Almost in a “seven at one blow” kind of a direction. This is a bit like “Castlevania the Adventure”. If you look at the logo, it pretty clearly says, “The Castlevania Adventure.” I expect Konami's localization people to drop the ball on a daily basis, but not Square-Enix's. What's this game called in Japan? Ah, same thing.
But then there's Wikipedia, which disagrees with the commercial, saying it's “Kingdom Hearts Three-Fifty Eight By Two Days.” Are we sure the media people who made the commercial remembered to ask how to say the name?
Agreed. I'm reminded of all the Cartoon Network promos that mispronounced “pokemon.”
