Review: Dragon Ball Z – Ultimate Tenkaichi (PS3)

October 28, 2011 – 12:44 pm |

I really liked last year’s DBZ game, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2. It felt like the franchise had finally achieved some serious attention with a game that was both deep and fun.
This year, we …

Aeropodcast #104 – Fourhman Phones It In

Submitted by on October 20, 2009 – 2:19 pm6 Comments

dockWith the podcast down one man this week, we decided to hit up the community for some topics.  However, one of those comments from one Jordan Snyder, drew Fourhman out from the House of Mouse to call in and retort.  To say it is epic is selling it short.

We also took the time to sit discuss some of the recent hulabaloo on the web surrounding the complaints over the recent scores that Uncharted 2 has received from some media outlets.  Yes, you read that right, people have been complaining about 9.3, 9.4 and 4.5 out of 5 scores.  We just found it interesting that a game that has reviewed so well, is still getting complaints over the review scores being so low.

The podcast music is provided by Revolution Void and they can be found at www.revolutionvoid.com.  The podcast is mixed as always by our favorite DJ, Stephen “stop clearing your throat already, Joe” Munn.

    Hoorah! Controversy!

That is so like Fourhman to bring up sales numbers! Why don't I just talk about Metacritic scores? Who would be the winner then? Hmm???

B**ch-slapped? Never. I think the trade-off of occasional system malfunctions for better looking games, a better online system (which is worth the price),and more dedicated third-party developers.

  • Joe Fourhman says:

I'm sure if the 360 was outselling the Wii four to one, the 360 fans would probably never mention it. Right.

I seem to recall a lot of sales figures thrown around during the Xbox/GameCube second place faceoff.

That ain't me. Plus, I was like 4-years-old when during the PS2/Xbox/GameCube era.

To be completely honest, I used to be a Wii fanboy. Back in early 2006, the Wii was my only console and I would always try to defend the system by touting its sales numbers. Eventually, I realized that I had to stop trying to convince myself that I bought the right system, and I went out and bought my 360 and PS3, and I never looked back.
