Aeropodcast #98: How Cheap Can You Go
Mike, Stephen, Fourhman and Joe join together in unison to fight for justice, truth and the podcasting way, protecting citizens from scum and villany. Okay, not really, but we did have a great discussion on the uniformed pricing of titles on the current generation of consoles.
Our discussion looks at whether certain titles could have benefited from a lower starting price point vs. the standard $59.99 price tag that almost all Xbox 360 and PS3 games are hit with. Some of the titles mentioned include WET, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand and Wolverine: Origins. We took a short look at Nintendo as well, considering that they have been a bit more flexible as of late with pricing, having titles come out at $50 and $30 on a regular basis. But some titles still left us wondering what developers were thinking, like Mad World or Deadly Creatures and their full price point.
We also received a couple of questions from Forum member william745, and we are always looking for more.
