I really liked last year’s DBZ game, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2. It felt like the franchise had finally achieved some serious attention with a game that was both deep and fun.
This year, we …

Aeropodcast #101: Newfangled I’s, P’s and a Dash of Q’s

This week on the Aeropodcast,  Josh, aka Crash from The Gamers Garage joined Fourhman and Joe to talk shop about all things video gaming related.  This week, our topic focused on two major items.  First we discussed the game lose/lose, and how this game could end up causing serious detrimental harm to a computer.  Is the game art, or just a cleverly disguised virus?  We also took a look at the new Nintendo Wii price cut and if it will have a bump or serious sales spike on the NPD numbers.  There was also mention of a rebate for the Xbox 360 Elite package that would lower its effective price to $250.

As always, we have community corner with lots of good questions, notable articles, and of course, what are we all playing.  Also,  what does “orangutang afterbirth” have to do with anything?  Find out inside.

Music is provided by Revolution Void, and mixed as always by Stephen Munn.

There is no need for the ' on the title of this post. Classic case of 'Grocers Apostrophes' there… Why grocers apostrophes? Because they would write “Apple's and Orange's”, it should be apples and oranges.

ENOUGH WITH THE BEATLES ROCKBAND BASHING ALREADY!

if you have been listening to us, you will realize that we never do anything that makes sense. Wait til you see all the other ways we brutalize the English language. Actually, I was aware of that, but the title is suppose to grab people's attention, and this seems to have worked.

  • mclazyj says:

I hate to inform you of this, but this week's upcoming podcast is all about how much better The Beatles: Rock Band could be…. :p

  • Vixx says:

That's it. I'm OUT of the podcast, my friend – OUT!

Wait – was this your ploy all along to keep my insanely British accent off of the 'cast …?

  • Jordan_Snyder says:

I'm with Vikki. Seriously, what more do you want from The Beatles: Rock Band?

  • mclazyj says:

Actually, we are hoping you can do an insanely American accent on the podcast. I can hear it now. A mix of Daniel Craig and John Wayne….It's GOLD!

  • Joe Fourhman says:

Actually, with single letters like that, the apostrophe is debatable. Otherwise, you'd have “Is” instead of “I's” and that would read like, well, “is.” In this case, I'd say the apostrophes add clarity.

  • Joe Fourhman says:

Another thirty songs would have been nice.

Also more freedom in choosing venues, creating playlists, and incorporating DLC.

Not to mention being able to export the tracks into regular Rock Band.

These are all issues that make $60 Game A come up short when compared to $60 Game B.

  • Vixx says:

Just you wait, Haywood. My American accent is awesome.
