LittleBigPlanet GOTY Edition

The rumored Game of the Year edition of LittleBigPlanet has been announced on the PS Blog and it will include most of the major DLC released to date, right up to last week’s History set. It boasts $30 of DLC included in the new regular priced $59.99 package. It’s slated for a September 8th release and SCEA Marketing Manager Mark Valledor has commented that there will be a “bigger” announcement (quoted just that way) tomorrow at GamesCom, so we’ll have to see if a new, big add-on pack for LBP is in the works or if they’ve decided to move on to perhaps a sequel. Or if he’s just pumping up the very heavily rumored new PS3 model everyone expects to show up this week.

    And also, the box art is much classier than the original release.

    I only got a PS3 a few months ago and picked up LBP – but I haven't played it much! The 360 has received more love.

    Glad they didn't put it on the 9th, whew.
