Killerspiel-Diskussion – Crytek threaten to leave Germany.

If you’ve been following the state of videogame affairs in Germany, you’ll be aware that the government over there doesn’t like videogames. Well, games devs have decided to stand up to the government and protest about the kicking the government is giving to gamers over there. The government has threatened to ban games “where the main part is to realistically play the killing of people or other cruel or un-human acts of violence against humans or manlike characters”. The CEO of Crytek, Cevat Yerli, made a statement to the effect of “if you carry on jerking us about like this, we’re leaving”. Hit the jump for the statement.
