Guaranteed to Raise a Smile – Join Sgt. Pepper as DLC

With Beatles: Rock Band on schedule for release come 090909, today we learn – via a New York Times article – that Rubber Soul and Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band join the Abbey Road line-up as DLC for the new Harmonix title.
But that’s not all. The article also gives away some of the intriguing changes made to the traditional RB formula in order to satisfy both Apple Corps. and the potentially new (read: older) audience who may not have played a RB title before. Did you dig those crazy drum solos? Not any more; they apparently detract from the original rhythm of the tracks. Do you suck so hard you frequently get booed off stage? You won’t be when you’re one of the Beatles. A far less insulting failure screen will signal your performance’s demise instead.
I know, I know … it’s all a little safe and simple (not to mention insulting – if I’m booed off-stage as part of my awesome band Captain Blood, I don’t see why I can’t be ‘cos I’m in the Beatles – surely they were booed at SOME TIME in their early career?!). I know it’s a money-spinner, and it’s not offering much more than the usual RB or GH release but … I’m still really looking forward to this. How about you?

Best song catalog in the history of anything ever?
Yeah, excitement justified.
While not belittling Michael Jackson's death, can you imaging the amount of money his estate is going to make off of this game. I mean he does own most, if not all of The Beatles music catalog.
Ooh! Guess what! Xbox 360 owners will get one exclusive DLC song! That's right, one! Suck it! /sarcasm
I could've sworn that Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band was already going to be a song on the disc. In one of the gameplay trailer on The Beatles: Rock Band official website, they show that song being played.
Actually, his estate is going to make zilch since he relinquished his 50% ownership of 50% rights to the songs upon his death</href>.
Really? I thought there were worries that the game was going to run into publishing issues due to his involvement with the ownership of the rights at the time of signing the license. Maybe that changed at death. Since I am not a lawyer, I will cry ignorance.
Young whippersnapper, don't you know there is more songs on the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album than the title track? http://www.gracenote.com/search/album_details.p…
Well, duh, but I haven't heard every song. Plus, in the gameplay video the song says “We're Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, we hope you will enjoy the show.” I guess I just jumped to conclusions…?
I thought he was forced to sell them years ago to pay off his debts (http://www.nytimes.com/1995/11/08/business/comp…
Ditto'd!
That's when he ended up w/ 50% of 50%.
He had 50% of the profit of the songs, (the other 50 being Sir Paul's), but then he went into a deal w/ Sony to have 50% ownership of the songs for that just show of 100 mil deal.
Oh, so you were playing that great game, “Jump…..to Conclusions” Man I love that movie.
It's a mat, where you jump…to different conclusions!
OH I TOLD YOU MAN! CHECK OUT THIS LIST:

Yes, please tell me about DLC before the game has even come out. So you could have put it on the disk, but you didn't so you could charge more even though we all know the disk is nowhere near full.
