Salem and Rios, stars of the co-op action title, Army of Two, will be returning in January in the sequel, Army of Two: The 40th Day.  The title is scheduled for a January 8th, 2010 release in Europe, while hitting North American shores on January 12th, 2010.

This release date seats the Army of Two sequel in a lot of post holiday traffic, which is unusual for that time of year.  It will be interesting to see how this title fares with the additional competition, and if the issues from the first title were fixed.

Army of Two: The 40th Day takes place in the middle of Shanghai, China, during what appears to be a massive military event, possibly a coup of the standing government.  Our two buddies, Salen and Rios, seem to be caught behind enemy lines during a mercenary mission that they were on in the same province.  We will probably find out more as we get closer to launch.
