I really liked last year’s DBZ game, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2. It felt like the franchise had finally achieved some serious attention with a game that was both deep and fun.
This year, we …

It is funny when game announcements come from the strange places.  There has been no mention of a Saints Row PSP up to this point, but it seems that Swedish rock band Opeth has a little more info than we do about the unannounced title.  On Opeth’s website, the following post was put up yesterday:

We may not like playing video games all that much but we do like it when our music is featured on them! Makes us a bit proud even when it’s a game as big as Saints Row for the PSP and even prouder when the nice developer people show excellent taste by picking “The Lotus Eater” for it. So if you love playing video games: the game is expected to hit the streets around March 2010.

Nothing in response has come from THQ or Volition regarding Saints Row PSP, but it would probably be a good move for the series while waiting for the next full installment in the Saints Row franchise.

Given how well GTA has done on the PSP this would be a good move. I'm curious as to what they're actually going to be able to do given that SR1 and SR2 are current-generation games whereas the GTA games that have reached the PSP thus far are based on the PS2 versions of GTA.

If they can give me have the experience that I got out of Saints Row 2 in a portable format, I am there on day one. In my opinion, Saints Row 2 was a much better game than GTA IV, and I would hope that would carry over to the portable version as well.

I would say it will be a bit harder to pull off without having that second analog stick.
