Smash Brawl movie brings some twisted Nintendo cosplay

brawlphotosI hope you’re keeping up with the episodic fan film There Will Be Brawl, which has been pretty amazing thus far.

But if you haven’t, you can shortcut right to some of the crazy by visiting the gallery of photographer Greg De Stefano. The photos are for a book project, and they feature just about every Brawl cast member that has been revealed thus far.

Mario, Wario, Sonic, Olimar, Lakitu, Little Mac, Zero Suit Samus… it’s quite a collection. My favorite is the dangerous looking Fox McCloud I’ve thumbnailed in the lower left.

I don’t know how far the claim of parody can take these guys into merchandising, but I would totally buy something from them.

And don’t miss the TWBB Download page, which features some of the photos in handy desktop background form. Not to mention some seriously excellent remixes of classic Nintendo tunes.

These pictures are ruining my childhood. If they are going to make a live action movie, at least make the characters look bad ass.
  • Those are tops. Heh.
