Today Gamestop decided to join the ranks of Steam, Gamersgate, Impulse and many other websites by making it’s own digital download store. Currently, it is “Casual Games” only store. Games like Plants Vs. Zombies, Rollercoaster Tycoon, and other small games are available at the store.

I’m surprised that Gamestop hasn’t done this earlier with their PC games. PC games are phasing out of their stores anyways. Annoying Gamestop “preorder this” employee not included.

I could have sworn that Gamestop had been doing digital download for some time now, but I could be wrong. Not that I would use their digital download service. Hell, I love GoGamer, and I won't even use their GoLoader service. I like being consolodated to one service, so I know where all my games are at. Good Old Games fills in where Steam lacks.
