Did anybody know Sackboy was in Rag Doll Kung Fu?
I had to do a double-take when I checked Media Molecule’s website this evening: the top story is a grinning Sackboy riding astride a big ol’ Rag Doll Kung Fu logo. Even as I read the article, I did not immediately understand what they were saying. A “Time Saver’s Pack” for Rag Doll Kung Fu? But surely the Rag Doll costume pack for LittleBigPlanet was just some outfits and stickers?
No, no. Turns out, Sackboy is an unlockable character in Rag Doll Kung Fu. I had no idea. You had no idea. And since RDKF’s unlockables are mad hard, we had no chance of ever finding this out.
Until now, as long as we buy the aforementioned Time Saver’s Pack. Coming to the PSN Store this week, this DLC will unlock Sackboy and “a range of other crazy costumes.” Media Molecule doesn’t mention a price, and also doesn’t mention if this DLC will arrive simultaneously on PlayStation Stores of all regions.
Since we all received Rag Doll Kung Fu for free from Sprint a few months ago, this may be the game’s only chance of wringing a few bucks out of us.

I remember seeing the snapshots of some of those costumes, but I've played only a little bit of RDKF so far. I like it and think it's pretty fun. I just need to master the controls and moves to make things flow better together and get some great combos going.
It's OK. As per usual, the motion controls are mostly lousy… especially when it comes to the challenge events that require you to use them.
But I always appreciate a game that records direct to YouTube.
No, they're completely lousy. I played it the other night, again, and still could not master them. It's too touchy on when combination of events have to occur: pressing a button AND shaking the controller at the same time is just a dumb idea. Period.
I bought that game (Ragdoll) when it first came out on Steam. I no longer have a PC though (yay), I wonder if I can somehow utilize it in other ways…hmm.
