The Punisher: No Mercy Drops on PSN July 2nd.

Okay PS3 fans, it looks like The Punisher is getting ready to regulate on your systems come July 2nd., just in time to celebrate the Declaration of Independence.  The Punisher: No Mercy is a new title, developed exclusively for the Playstation Network, with a price of $10.  The game looks to be a standard shooter, powered by the Unreal Engine 3.0 technology.  Unfortunately, there is no mention of interrogation in the press release, but we do know that we will be fighting Jigsaw at some point.  Check the jump for a couple of screens, as well as a press release.

Powered by Unreal Engine 3, The Punisher: No Mercy was designed with fast-paced online multiplayer FPS action in mind. The game allows players to choose from an eclectic mix of Punisher allies and villains. Battle arenas span from shipyards rife with contraband to the “birthplace” of the Punisher’s archenemy, Jigsaw, and up to eight players can blast away at each other in a variety of solo and team-based missions.

In addition to exceptional online play, The Punisher: No Mercy also offers a single-player story mode featuring exclusive artwork from acclaimed Marvel artist Mike Deodato.
