So, Is Free Realms Coming to PS3?
I have yet to jump into the Free Realms MMORPG as of yet, because I am a lazy bastard, and I know it will mean less time for me on the PC, because I am sure it is the kind of thing my wife and son would want to play endlessly. It has been a huge success for Sony Online Entertainment on the PC. But today, I got an email from my fellow writer Paul mentioning that there is supposed to be a PS3 version, but nothing else has been said about it.
So with task in hand, I went over to the Sony Online Entertainment booth, and decided to pose the question to the wonderful PR people there. And without fail they got me a response, but it is probably not what fans of the series wanted to hear. The official response from the reps was that the PS3 version is still in the forecast, but they wouldn’t say more. I tried pressing for a little more of a response, but that was all I could get out of them. Those SOE reps are really well trained as they would not crack under the pressure of the Aeropause torture lamp.
So there you have it. Its “in the forecast” PS3 fans.

Too bad, really. That tells me that they've pushed it out at least until mid 2010, if not later.
A little FreeRealms card game tip… Target has cheap sample packs of the FreeRealms card game that come with a $2 coupon off the starter deck.
I don't know what the cards will get you in the game, but if you're in the market, the sample packs would get you a couple essentially-free extra cards.
Just read that Free Realms just hit the 3 million registered player mark as of today! This is quite an awesome accomplishment since the game launched less that 7 weeks ago… Really glad it's going so well! I've been having a blast fighting robogobblins, and the racing your friends online is sweet too. If you haven't signed up for a free account, you totally should

HOPEFULLY this ain't guna be exclusive for the Premium PlayStation Network Members, come on its a Free-To-Play Game ain't it? With extra membership and premium items.
