Our friends over at Telltale Games sent word that today would be the release date for Sam and Max Save the World on the Xbox Live Marketplace.  Sam and Max Save the World includes all six episodes of the first season, formerly on the PC and Wii, along with system specific items like achievements and leaderboards.  The biggest question about the release, was how much Telltale would charge for something like Sam and Max Save the World, and now we know that the price is going to be 1600 Microsoft Points, or $20.00.

Also, if you head over to the Sam and Max website, you will find walkthroughs, trailers and even more info about our two furry detectives.  Check the jump for more screens from the Xbox 360 version.
