Not that I need everything to be super-canon, but if you're going to taunt comics fans with Civil War, then make the damn game about Civil War. If you're going to include Hulk, Thor, Thing, Green Goblin and everybody else who had jack-all to do with Civil War but are nevertheless marketable, then come up with a new story and go from there. It's not like we need a ton of story anyway, just some flimsy excuse for everybody to get together and hit stuff. I played X-Men Legends start to finish and I couldn't tell you what incredible storyline took place in that one. The X-Men stormed through armies of interchangeable bad guys. Fin.

Trying to hype this as if it's some kind of Civil War experience is just blatant fan-baiting. Your average non-comics-reading gamer is not going to give a crap anyway, so why bother.
